One of the standout contestants is Fernanda Beltrán from Mexico, who at 24 years old studied Marketing and Social Communication but decided to start her own personalized makeup business. As the Mexican representative, Beltrán promotes the fight against cyberbullying and bullying through the Marbe Foundation.

The motto for Miss Universe 2024 is "Let's define a future forged by women." The current winner of the pageant is Sheyniss Palacios from Nicaragua, who took the crown in 2023. The final of the competition will take place this Saturday, November 16, where 30 contestants will compete for the coveted title.
